Scott Zimmer is a seasoned trial attorney with more than 20 years of litigation experience in Florida courts. He brings a steady, solutions-focused approach to all legal matters, combining courtroom strength with practical judgment in high-conflict and emotionally complex cases.
Before joining Kantaras Law, Scott served as Senior Trial Attorney with one of the largest insurance companies in the state of Florida, where he tried numerous jury trials, defended expert and corporate representative depositions and developed litigation strategy in high-exposure cases. His background also includes supervising attorneys, managing high-volume litigation dockets, and conducting hundreds of bench trials. Known for his calm demeanor, integrity, and perseverance, Scott is a dedicated advocate who helps clients navigate difficult transitions with clarity and confidence.
Scott earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, where he received three book awards—honors awarded to the student earning the highest grade in a particular course—and his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University.
Outside of his practice, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and values family as the foundation of both his personal and professional life.
