About

Azhar Cheema joined Kantaras Law in 2023 and is currently an Associate Attorney, where his practice includes family and marital law.

Prior to Kantaras Law, Azhar gained experience working in both family and civil litigation. Working in family law has grounded Azhar in a way that allows him to be an advocate for fairness, protect the vulnerable, and help families find a way forward.

Azhar earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he received a full tuition honors scholarship and graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Law Review, and Journal of Practical & Clinical Law. He received the highest-grade distinction in Civil Procedure II and Advocacy and, subsequently, became a Teaching Assistant for Advocacy. He also volunteered at a pro bono family law firm.

Azhar is currently a member of the Stann Givens Family Law American Inn of Court of Tampa. Outside the office, Azhar focuses on living a healthy lifestyle.
