Legal Guidance for Your DACA Renewal
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) allows certain undocumented persons who entered the United States as minors to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for an Employment Authorization Document.
There are many eligibility requirements to obtain DACA, including your age upon entry to the United States, current age, and continued physical presence in the United States. In addition, recent changes to the law include that the Department of Homeland Security is no longer accepting new applications for DACA. Therefore, only renewals are currently accepted, meaning if an individual has not already had DACA, they are no longer eligible.
If you need assistance with DACA, including application renewal, contact the Palm Harbor DACA lawyers at K. Dean Kantaras, P.A. Call (727) 939-6113 today. We also serve clients in Clearwater.
