Rebecca attended the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Crime, Law, and Deviance. Rebecca attended the University of Tennessee College of Law where she was the Managing Editor of the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy, Award Recipient of the Daniel Testerman Scholarship, and Award Recipient of the Herbert L. Davis Memorial Trust Fund. Rebecca also served as a student attorney in the Advocacy Clinic assisting low-income members of the community in housing disputes issues.
From 2019 to 2021, Rebecca worked as Assistant General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. In her capacity as Assistant General Counsel, Rebecca represented the Department in child endangerment, dependency, and neglect matters throughout various counties in East Tennessee. Rebecca has always enjoyed litigation and advocacy, especially when it comes to children and families.
Rebecca is a licensed attorney for the State of Tennessee.
